So adidas thought it might be clever to build two giant ‘adidas Superstar’ trainers (my personal favourites), and they gave one to an artist on the east coast and one to an artist on the west coast. The project, entitled the Left-Right Project, was documented and adidas have just put the movie up on their website. Both sets of artists had 3 days to work on their shoe and then they had to stop at a set time. Check out the video to see how it unfolded.

Last month I linked you to adidas’ collabo with Diesel, now here’s a new collabo between adidas and the NBA entitled the NBA Home Cooked Collection which features nine different cities where apparel and trainers will be launched for each respective city. As a part of this past weekend’s NBA All-Star festivities, adidas and the NBA joined together in a soft launch of the collection. Here is a closer look at the New York EQT Jacket, which looks celebrates local culture and pride. The collection will be sold at a selection of adidas retailers and also the NBA Store. I want to get my hands on this NY jacket.

For those that were, and for those that weren’t aware, adidas and Diesel have joined forces to bring you “the freshest jeans you’ll ever slide into”.
The line is launched today and you can check out the website at http://diesel.adidas.com although they cost a pretty penny. The adidas/Diesel jeans should also be available from your nearest adidas Originals shop.
The jeans come in colorways indigo or black, the denims are available in 2 fits: adi-ronhary & adi-matic for Women, adi-viker & adi-thanaz for Men. All the jeans are embellished with Diesel’s “D” and adidas’ Trefoil rivets on the back pocket. The Trefoil also appear in the form of the leather tab in the rear. The new line also include adidas’ trademark 3 stripes detail around the cuffs and on the side.

Just found this geeky little gadget. Not available yet, the e-paper snap bracelet is a concept currently under production. Once fitted upon your wrist it acts like a watch and displays the time and date. However, if you take it off and unroll it, it becomes a fully functional video player. The bracelet won’t require batteries or charging as it will work off of kinetic energy. I like the idea but to be honest, the price tag will be through the roof… and it’s incredibly nerdy.
I ain’t in to fashion and design too much, hell I’m not really into books that much, but this combo from Latvian designer Stanislav Katz kinda makes me wanna get my reading game on. Found this over on Kanye’s blog, props to him for continuing to throw dope fashion our way. Doesn’t look too comfortable mind, does it?
I’m not really into my watches but fuck me these are stylish…
