It’s been on a three month hiatus, but Studio 60 is finally back. Such good news is soured by the more general overview that the show is being scrapped after its first series. This is the 17th episode (24th May) and the series will be 22 in total, with NBC deciding that they won’t be filming a 2nd series. Shame really because Studio 60 was a fantastically mature yet entertaining show, definitely worth a slot in the schedule anyway. Oh well, atleast we can take comfort in the fact that there’s five more episodes (better than nothing!).

NBC’s TV programme “Studio 60″ has gone on hiatus due to poor ratings. Probably due to the overwhelming success of “Heroes”, which is aired at the same time.

If, like me, you really enjoy the show and don’t want it removed from the air… sign the petition here. I’m all about the petitions lately. This ones already got 12,000 signatures.

Studio 60 is a top show. Not many mature, yet light-hearted dramas on the air. Or good ones at least. Studio 60 was never going to win the prime-time ratings because it isn’t action packed like Lost, Prison Break, Heroes or other shows that genuinely win these types of ratings wars. But there is definitely a place for it, moving it to a different time slot is a much better idea than scrapping it.

So yeah, go save it. Sign the petition.

Next week is the final episode of The OC. I’m pretty gutted, but the past few have been on the decline and generally heading to an all-smiles ending. I know it’s going to be cringeworthy, so I just want it to be over with, I wish it didn’t have to though. :/

Lost still great. FNL always awesome. There was no Prison Break this week. And I struggled to find 24.

Lost is back! But not as good as I was expecting, I must admit. Bit annoying to follow a new character after they’ve made us wait two months to see whats happening. Still a great watch though.

Friday Night Lights is as great as ever, as is Prison Break.

I really didn’t think too much to Prison Break in series one, but I carried on watching curiously. I love it now. So to share my love, I’ve got some links for Season 2 Episode 14, which I believe was aired last night in the US - or it might be next week. Either way, miles ahead of us UK folk.
